Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge Kayak Tour
There comes a time in a persons life when they think about where animals come from and how they were here before us this is something that they think about when they do outside activities such as the Kayak Tour in Gulf Shores.
This tour is made so that people can get out of their house and dig deeper into the world that they live in all while having fun. Doing a class beforehand for safety is a must however. This tour is made so that people can see more of the species that have been threatened which is why it was created by congress. This Wildlife reserve was created so that these animals had a place to go when they became that way making it where nobody could find them.
This is something that is right for the whole family and is fun which is something that is a bonus. Going into the water is something that can be dangerous though so staying in the Kayak at all times is a must and is something the child must know when they get into one. All of these tours are lead by people who know about the history of the reserve and the animals that are living inside it.
Costal Nature Guides is a way for everybody to learn more about the wildlife that is in the water that they are going down which is something that most people like to look further into when they are home. If this sounds like something that interest you then going into the water is for you. Animals are there for you to understand more about and learn more about as well along the way.
On this tour you will visit a portion of the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge that no driving tourist can reach. This refuge was established by Congress in 1980 to preserve the coastal dune ecosystem, to protect threatened and endangered species, to provide compatible recreational opportunities, and to serve as a living laboratory for students and scientists, Regularly and recently observed birds in BSNWR: Red-bellied Woodpecker, Belted King Fisher, Great Blue Heron, Osprey, Blue Jay, Eastern Bluebird, Northern Mockingbird, Northern Cardinal.
