John Gadonas originally opened the Majestic on 622 King Street before relocating to 911 King Street in 1949. The cafe serves steak, poultry, and seafood, as well as a host of other items. The Majestic stands out from other cafes and restaurants because they serve all-natural, hormone free meet, poultry, and seafood, as well as support local farmers and ranchers.

Part of what makes the Majestic such an interesting place to visit is their history. When the Majestic was open from 1932 to 1978, it was designed with an Art Deco façcade, which made it unique from other cafes. When the Majestic reopened in 2001, it was able to maintain the uniqueness of what made the Majestic special. Part of what makes the Majestic special is the Art Deco façcade, the two original neon signs, the terrazzo floor, and the booths and banquets.
