Over the last few years, CityCenter formed most of the town's talk with its fast development.

The downtown hit the headlines after attracting world finest designers and the most famous chefs into the District. Dissimilar with other destinations in the downtown, driving to CityCenter and around is not a nightmare. The development has an independent 500-space garage which can be accessed from 9th street or 11th street.

Construction of CityCenter started in 2011 with many business stores with phrases on their entrances reading “now open” and “coming soon”. For the most parts, that is over as most of restaurants and retail shops are now open. The development is among the biggest downtown projects within United States and the biggest East Coast urban development in the country. Most of the CityCenter’s development was finished and open for commerce by summer.
