When it comes to finding hotels, there's no shortage of options. But as a Wichita resident, I can tell you that the Super 8 by Wyndham Waldorf is one gem. From the friendly staff and big clean rooms to their generous complimentary breakfast buffet, the Super 8 hotel delivers ten out of ten stars in my book.
The location is great too. It's near the highways so it's easy to find, but tucked away in a quiet neighborhood that makes for a peaceful night's sleep.

Cleopatra's Palace Hotel and Casino was our first stop on this road trip, and I wish we had discovered it sooner. It's located in a suburb of Las Vegas, close enough to drive in fifteen minutes. Just make sure you factor that into your travel time. Anyway, while I'm not one to gamble, we still had a nice time at the casino because we managed to get away from the poker room for a bit. We took advantage of their buffet and ate quite well for about $40. We also enjoyed their nightly entertainment shows, which included karaoke. We met up with a friend of mine at the hotel and we had dinner before heading out the next night.
While there aren't really any specific things we "enjoyed" about this hotel, I can say that our stay was one that I would recommend to anyone. We packed up the car and drove north to Sedona, Arizona . We made it a ten-hour drive from Vegas because of traffic on I-40 (I'm talking construction, not accidents or other such issues).
