4th of July in Washington, DC

The Fourth of July Washington D.C. is one of the biggest events in America.  It brings people together to recognize and celebrate our signing the Declaration of Independence and igniting sparks that began the revolutionary war which eventually bought us our freedom.

It is a holiday that everybody can remember celebrating as children, watching the fireworks and paying respect to the men and women in the armed forces who fight to protect his country. It also celebrates the idea that a person can be free and if people worked together they can achieve anything they put their minds to.  It is one of the most widely celebrated holidays in America, bringing families and people together to pay tribute to what our forefathers have started.

The brilliant fireworks show in Alexandria, Virginia, just 25 minutes south of D.C., is one of the 13 Best Places to See Fireworks on the East Coast and definitely won't leave you disappointed!
