You'll meet your guide and begin a culinary exploration of 2 separate neighborhoods in Washington D.C. You'll start right across from the U Street Metro at Ben's Next Door and wind your way through U Streets culinary hits. From the classic chili dog to new gourmet food served on the go, you'll find something surprising and tasty at each location. You'll even have the chance to taste some local beers along the way. As you go from location to location, your guide will explain how music helped to shape these famous streets as well as the incredible architecture that is found on these streets. You'll have plenty of time to explore each food location, with stops lasting about 20 minutes.

This tour requires either electronic or paper vouchers. This tour comes with a professional guide to lead you from location to location. This food tour requires walking, please wear comfortable shoes and dress accordingly for the weather. The tour begins at Ben's Next Door and ends at Calabash Tea and Tonic which is a very short walk to the Shaw Metro Station. Lunch is provided with the cost of the tour. Gratuities are not included in the tour price but are recommended. Guests are responsible to and from the starting and ending location of the tour. If you have any specific dietary requirements, please notify the staff upon booking the tour. Children are welcome on this tour but must be accompanied by an adult. Adult pricing applies to all tour guests.
