Experience DC in a way that kids will love. If you're traveling with your children to the national capital, whether they are young or not, it's important to find things that are both interesting and fun. Our tour is designed for children between ages 4-9. We provide an interactive tour of Washington, D.C., including unique kids activities (and no adult supervision) for the whole family to enjoy at their own pace. There's so much history and sites worth exploring during our DC trip.
George Washington's Mount Vernon offers children an up-close look at George Washington's home. The Revolutionary War general spent his final years in the mansion and the property, including gardens and animals, has been restored to its 18th-century appearance. The Mount Vernon mansion tour takes about 45 minutes, after which children can get a better idea of how Washington lived by spending time in the museum and gift shop.
Kids can also explore Washington's Georgetown neighborhood with a visit to Dumbarton House. Filled with antiques, artworks and playful pets, this historic house gives kids a sense of what life was like for wealthy Philadelphians in the city during the 19th century.
