Description
Arlington Cemetery Plus Dc Monuments Tour Photos (1)

Washington DC is the capital of the United States. Though, the city itself isn't that large and can't hold everything that our nation has to offer. This is why it goes to other cities. That can make it easier for commutes and the traffic isn't as inflated.

Here you will get to see the monuments that you've got to see on TV. That is great for the people who have always wanted to go to these places. There are also restaurants that you're going to like as well. Every city has its restaurants that make it special. But DC is an entirely different beast. If you give some of them a try, you will not regret it.

What you will see are a bunch of landmarks that the people in the United States created. There is the Washington Monument named after the first president. There is the Lincoln memorial, who was not only a great leader, but a great figure who died for his beliefs. There is the Vietnam memorial, dedicated to appreciating the people who fought for the freedom of the citizens.

Washington DC has always a place for people to show their politics. There is the White house where the President lives and makes a lot of his decisions. This is the city where the House of Representatives and the Supreme court meets.

If you're just a person that cares about American history, consider going on this tour. Many of the topics you learned about in History class are still going to apply here today. Take a look at the services offered to see if you're interested. There is always a reason to learn more.
Meet your guide outside the Arlington Cemetery Metro Station and begin your morning with a walk through Arlington National Cemetery while learning the history of the grounds, once the property of General Robert E Lee.

Experience the Changing of the Guard Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknowns and visit to the grave site of John F Kennedy and the Eternal Flame, where John F Kennedy is buried alongside his wife, Jackie Onassis Kennedy, and brothers Robert F Kennedy and Ted Kennedy.

After a couple of hours at Arlington, hop on a coach bus and travel around Washington, DC to visit the Capitol, White House and all the major memorials (full list of stops available in the Itinerary section). At each stop your expert guide will hop off with you to personally escort you through the sights providing insightful background and answering questions along the way.

Throughout the day you will have many opportunities to take photos and explore the National Mall.

At midday, stop for lunch (at your expense) and shopping break at the Pentagon City Mall.
