Wilderness at the Smokies Resort and Waterpark near Pigeon Forge, TN

This is a great place to stay in Summer and Winter as it has three water parks to choose from. There are two outdoor waterparks, and an indoor water park for Winter, or if you choose Summer too. There are numerous choices of rooms to choose from. You can have basic accommodations or suites with separate bedrooms, living rooms, and kitchen/dining areas. They also offer villas, which are luxury accommodations, featuring living rooms, with fireplaces, kitchens, dining rooms, bedrooms, and even game rooms. The game rooms have mini pool tables and video games.

This location is surrounded by mountains for beautiful views. Smoky Mountain National park is about eighteen miles away. The drive through the park is a must for anyone that loves scenic drives through the mountains. There are also eleven waterfalls and several hiking trails to go to.

Pigeon Forge is ten miles away, which has lots of dining options, either fast food, dinner shows, and pancake restaurants, There are also many activities to keep the kiddies busy, with miniature golf rides, and arcades. Don't forget about the famous Dollywood amusement park is also here. Gatlinburg is an absolute must see, only seven miles further up the road. It is a tourist destination with many restaurants, stores, and even moonshine tastings. Whenever you are in Eastern Tennessee, head o over and stay at the Wilderness in the Smokies.
