The skiing at Ober Gatlinburg is delightful, and lots of folks from Gatlinburg come here. Be careful coming to the Great Smoky Mountains, you might not ever want to go home again. Pigeon River - West Prong - Roaring Fork is a fine whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and a lovely lake like Hidden Mountain Lake Number Two is a fine site to check out. The top of Piney Butt is easily seen from Great Smoky Mountains National Park; while you're here why not stop at Jack Hollow.
