You will travel the same path as early explorers to the area as your guide provides you with interesting details on this beautiful country. On this two hour tour, you will travel by Jeep up through beautiful mountainous terrain to renowned waterfalls in the Nantahala area. The Jeep has been converted with a clear plexi glass canopy of the roof to provide you with panoramic views of the rugged and beautiful wilderness you will be traveling through. Snacks will be provided in a picnic pavilion. You will also enjoy time to shop in a local river store. This is a journey you will remember for years to come.
- Each Jeep holds 5 passengers. The minimum attendance per trip is 2 guests, and the maximum is 6.
- The tour will take place in all weather conditions, as permitted by the US Forest Service.
- Recommended attire includes a jacket, hat, sunglasses, and comfortable walking shoes. It is also recommended that you bring binoculars and a camera.
- Your tour guide is equipped with rain ponchos, water, snacks, insect repellant, a first aid kit, a small cooler, and books with maps and ID pictures.
