At ZORB Smoky Mountains, you have the opportunity to ride in an eleven foot tall inflatable globe down an 820-foot hill for the adventure tour experience of a lifetime.

There are two ways in which you can ride down the hill, wet or dry. The ZYDRO, or the wet ride, is said to be a cross between a water slide and a roller coaster. The ZORBonaut, that's you, is inside the globe with 5 gallons of water (warm in the winter and cool in the summer). You then slip, slide, and spin around (you do not tumble) while rolling down our straight track or zig zag track. For those who want to share the thrill, up to three people can ride in one globe down the straight track making for a truly wet and wild ride!

For those who want a more extreme ride, the ZORBIT, or dry ride, is the way to go! The ZORBonaut is harnessed in the globe in our specially designed safety harness and rolls head over heels down the straight track for an experience that no roller coaster can give you! ZORB globe riding is the perfect activity for the young and young at heart.

On the wet ride, five gallons of water are enclosed, with you, in the original ZORB globe. You, and the water, will slip, slide and spin down the hill in a partial roller coaster, partial water slide ride. You will need to bring a change of clothes. Ride the 'Fun for One' and go solo, choosing between three track types: Zig-Zag, Zipper or Fast Lanes. Or, team up with one or two other passengers and slide down the Fast Lanes.

On the dry ride, also known as the 'Astronaut in training' ride, you will be sent tumbling down the straight track. You will be strapped in to an authentic ZORB globe, with a specially-designed safety harness around your ankles, waist and shoulders. You will have three options: ride straight forward, tumble down backwards or get a little sideways and go airplane-style. For the best vacation experience, be sure to book similar things to do in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge.
