Grand Canyon Ultimate Tour
Spend a day exploring the Grand Canyon, on the South rim. An experienced guide shows you their favorite spots and tells the history of the area. See the Grand Canyon from an up front view, rather than just driving through.
Learn the history of the Grand Canyon, and the scientific reasoning for its formation. You will drive up to Yavapai Point, which is your first glimpse into this spectacular canyon, where you can see for miles. You guide will explain the geology of the rocks. The its time to venture onto the rim trail, to try and find some of the local wildlife, such as deer, black bears, and the majestic soaring eagles.
Next, guests will travel to Navajo Land. This is an Indian reservation located nearby the Grand Canyon. Guests will receive their choice of American, Native American, or Mexican meal. While eating, and afterwards, guests can converse with the guide and the locals about the area. Maybe they will share some stories of their ancestors. It is a great educational experience for the young and old alike.
After the meal and visit with the locals, the guide will take you to their favorite places to see and visit. This is a great way to see the Grand Canyon and all of its unique areas to visit. Visiting the Navajo people will be a great enhancement which guests might not otherwise have gotten to experience.
This tour is an all day adventure, taking eight hours. It includes round trip transportation, the guide, lunch, bottled waters, and park entrance fee. Remember to dress appropriately for the weather, as well as comfortable walking or hiking shoes.
Your starts from your Williams, Flagstaff, or Grand Canyon Village area hotels with a complimentary morning pickup by a friendly, informative, and local guide. Upon meeting your group, you will be regaled with stories of local history and scientific explanations of how the Colorado Plateau rose for hundreds of millions of years in order to create the national park. Upon entering the park, you will drive to Yavapai Point, your first glimpse of the Canyon, for a full geology lesson about the rocks and surrounding area. You will walk a bit of the Rim Trail as you search for wild life such as deer, eagles, and sometimes even black bear.
After exploring the south rim, you will head out to Navajo land for an included lunch where you will select from Mexican, American, and even Native American options for your meal. Relax and converse with your host and with locals as you learn more about the area from those who know it best. After a little more exploration of your guide's hand-picked, personal locations, you will be driven back to your hotel to rest, relax, and enjoy the amazing photos you collected throughout the day.
Pickup & Return:

Returns to original departure point.
