The Grand Canyon Railroad Excursion is a tour that the whole family will enjoy. You have a reserved seat on a train that has been in operation since 1901. While on the train not only will you see some fantastic scenery you can enjoy lunch as well. There is also entertainment on the train. It is a full day ride and your guide will tell you all about the history of the canyon while you are enjoying your ride in comfort.

The train stops often so that you can get plenty of pictures. You also get to step on the edge and see the magnificent work that years of erosion have caused.

Your ride will take you through the desert and around the one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Your tour includes;

1. Pickup and dropoff at your hotel in Flagstaff,

2. Guide,

3. Lunch and,

4. Bottled water.

It does not include gratuity.

The ride which is sixty-five miles long will take you through valleys full of wildflowers as well as through high desert plains and pine forests. While you are looking at the scenery you will be entertained by strolling musicians and cowboys. You will get to feel what the pioneers who first rode this train felt.

There are cancellation fees should you have to cancel your tour. These are;

1. Seven days before the scheduled tour there is not a cancellation fee,

2. Between three and six days the cancellation fee is fifty percent and,

3. If you do not cancel until two days before then the cancellation fee is one hundred percent.

Take a step back in time as you travel on the historic Grand Canyon Railroad. Each car of this Arizona railroad - which made its maiden voyage in 1901 - has been restored to its original state, and the crew members all have information to share about the train, it's history and many journeys.

The ride takes you across open countryside with mountain views before reaching the Grand Canyon by noon.
