Alber Orchard and Cider Mill is a large farm that is full of fun activities for the entire family. It is located near Detroit, MI. There are events scheduled during the summer and fall seasons.
In the spring and summer, visitors are able to walk through the orchard to pick apples off the trees. There are hayrides as well that go through the paths in the orchard. While on the farm, visitors can explore the cider mill. This building dates back to the 1700s. Apples that are grown on the farm are used in the cider mill to make apple cider. Visitors can watch the press as apple cider is made. School groups are welcome on the farm to take a tour. Students on the school tours are allowed time to pet the animals, can go on a wagon ride and are given a donut and glass of apple cider. If they attend in the fall, they can take home a pie pumpkin. Some of the events during the fall season are a little different. They include a corn maze, hay maze for children, a tractor classic show with vintage tractors and delicious treats made with apples and pumpkins. The pumpkin patch is also open with hayrides that go to the patch.
Enjoy a relaxing time with family and friends at the Alber Orchard and Cider Mill. While on the farm, you can pick apples or a pumpkin, pet farm animals or go through a corn maze.
