Located in Golden, Colorado, the Buffalo Bill Grave & Museum celebrates the life of a true American icon who epitomized the romantic image of the 19th-century Wild West. This attraction highlights the accomplishments of this famous showman who was known for his skills in hunting American Bison and hiking the rough terrain of the West Coast. This is also the final resting place of Buffalo Bill, who specifically requested to be buried here in a relatively simple grave made from natural stones and rocks.

The Buffalo Bill Grave & Museum features a modern facility with more than 3,000 square feet of floor space dedicated to permanent and temporary exhibits about Buffalo Bill. The Buffalo Bill Story, Buffalo Bill: The Showman, The Americas and Firearms are some of the popular permanent exhibits that are on display in the museum. There are also plenty of artifacts relating to local Native American tribes that had some sort of encounters with Buffalo Bill.
