Learn to Surf Group Surfing Lesson
Duration: 2 hours
Learn how to board surf with the Group Surfing Lesson. This lesson is for beginners and starts with a safety assessment of your body and equipment. You will learn about the basics of surfing and what you can expect from the lessons. These classes are taught by professional instructors teaching for years in Southern California. They will help you prepare for your first surf lesson or reinforce what you already know about becoming a great surfer! Classes start on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 5 pm or 6 pm at Huntington Beach Pier (North end). Price: $25.00 per person
Ages: 10 and up. An adult must accompany kids 8-9.
Class length: Depending on the day, they last from 2 to 3 hours. You will learn about the basics of surfing during this time and get plenty of hands-on practice to get a feel for everything you have learned! When you should go: During the non-tidal season, lessons are offered from 5 pm to 7 pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. If you are looking for a lesson during the peak season, weekends offer more hours from 11 am to 3 pm.
Space: Group Surfing lessons fill up quickly. Best to sign up as soon as possible, especially if it is your first time trying surfing. Payment: We accept cash only for your lesson fee at the beginning of each class. If you want to pay for all lessons simultaneously, you may get a discount if you bring enough money.

I have been in Daytona teaching surfing with Triple X Surf and Skate for the past 15 years. I have developed a very successful method of teaching surfing to beginners. The success rate stands at nearly 100% of students who get that awesome feeling of riding a wave for the first time. That's right we will teach you to ride a wave your very first day! We will take you step by step through ocean safety, paddling technique, body position, and the skills necessary to ride your very first wave!
