General Admission to the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens
The Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens is a fun family friendly way to spend the day. You get to see hundreds of animal species, plant species, and face-to-face exhibits of many creatures.
The Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens is generally open all week from 10am to 5pm. With the double admission to both the zoo and botanical gardens, you will have access to over 500 animal species and over 3,000 plant species. Some animals you can expect to see are lions, giraffes, hippos, and even face-to-face encounters with meerkats. There are many amazing exhibits available and you can also ride the express train around the inner loop of the zoo to stop by the welcoming center. The Reptile House of the Cincinnati Zoo is the oldest zoo building in the United States as well. The Cincinnati Zoo has also been active in saving species from extinction by breeding them, starting as early as 1880.
