Sunset Cruise on the Charleston Harbor Photos (7)

The sunset Cruise of Charleston Harbor is a great way for you to close out your day. You get to see the harbor in a new way, and you will be very impressed with the way that the city looks when the lights go off. You also need to see if you can get on the boat and bring your whole family along.

You could have the sunset cruise of Charleston set up for a time when your family can climb on, and you get to stay out for a long time after. You can see how the earth curves when you look back for the sunset, and you can also take a lot of pictures that look magical.

There are some people who will really want to take this cruise as part of a very romantic trip, and that is why you should give it some consideration. It is really the perfect way to see the coast of South Carolina. This means that the people on the boat are taking excellent pictures of the area.

The harbor tour will make you feel like you have floated on the water under the stars, and you get to stay out with the captain after the fact. There are some people who will help you find the best places to take pictures, and it is pretty easy for you to set this up and get the whole family on the cruise.

You could take this cruise to relax, and you will feel as though you have chosen something that make you feel the magic of Charleston.
The Palmetto is a 45-foot US Coast Guard Certified powered catamaran that holds up to 49 people. All tours depart/return, from/to the Charleston Maritime Center at 10 Wharfside Street, located 1/2 block from the SC Aquarium in Downtown Charleston. We ask that all of our guests arrive 30 minutes prior to departure and to please check in at our blue and white ticket booth located on the far left dock when facing the water. Complimentary parking is available at the Charleston Maritime Center only. In the unlikely event the lot is full, off-street parking is available and a city parking garage is located near the Aquarium. There are clean restrooms available at the Maritime Center. And of course, we do have a bathroom aboard. Soft drinks, water, beer, wine and prepackaged snacks are available on board for purchase.

Once aboard and seated, our mate will give a brief safety talk before departing from the dock. Then we invite you to enjoy a relaxing evening while cruising along Charleston's waterways. Inhale the cool, salty breezes and all that encompasses Charleston's Harbor, while listening to a variety of music. Along the way, you'll enjoy seeing sites such as the Battery, Fort Sumter, Fort Moultrie, the islands and the lighthouses. Dolphins and shore birds will entertain you with their whimsy. While this is not a guide narrated tour, our captain and mate are prepared to answer any questions you may have.
