Haunted Old South Carriage Tour of Charleston
Tour some of the most historic, iconic and of course, most haunted area's in one of the nations oldest cities with the Haunted Old South Carriage Tour of Charleston.
You'll be treated to a comfortable and unique ride on a 16 passenger horse drawn carriage ride as you travel from location to location on this tour. Your professional guide will highlight all the important and chilling history of the many landmarks in Charleston including Circular Congregational Graveyard, The Mills House Hotel, St. Michael's Episcopal Church, the Provost Dungeon and the Old Exchange Building. All of these locations have rich histories stretching back through the centuries that offer thrills, chills, and today, many hauntings.
This tour requires advanced reservations. Live commentary from a professional guide is provided for the entire tour. Each tour lasts roughly 40 minutes. Children are welcome on the tour but must be accompanied by an adult. This tour is wheelchair accessible but please advise the staff when you make reservations of any assistance or accommodations you will need. This tour is subject to weather conditions and could be cancelled if poor weather occurs. Please dress accordingly for hot and cool weather. All guests are requested to arrive roughly 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the tour.

This 40 minute after-dark tour covers more than 15 eerie blocks of Charleston's old walled city. From the 16-passenger horse-drawn carriage, you will learn the haunted histories of such landmarks as the Circular Congregational Graveyard (oldest graveyard), the Mills House Hotel (one our most haunted hotels), St. Michael's Episcopal Church (oldest church building), and the Old Exchange Building and Provost Dungeon (last colonial building built in America and the original city dungeon for Charleston). Once past the dungeon you will return along the formerly pirate infested waters of Charleston and back through the Old City Market as you return to our stables at 14 Anson St.
