As you ride in your carriage, your guide will take you through the history of Charles Towne. Your carriage ride continues through the oldest building in Charleston, home of Powder Magazine. Travel on your tour guided carriage ride to the Four Corners of The Law, the Old Exchange Building, Waterfront Park, and the stupendous Pineapple Fountain. Your tour will end at the old City Market in downtown Charleston.

The pick up location begins at 14 Anson Street from our traditional stable located in the central market area of downtown Charleston. As your personal licensed Old South Carriage tour guide regales you with the history of Chalreston, you could ride past some of the most iconic buildings in the city. Your tour will conclude at the old City Market centrally located in downtown Charleston. Our sophisticated vis-à-vis carriages comfortably seat up to four adults. On this tour you will experience Charleston's downtown historic district along with charming mansions, gardens, and churches (and maybe even a kiss).
Check in with an Old South Carriage Co. reservationist at 14 Anson st. at least 15-minutes prior to the time your tour is scheduled to start. If you have not checked in 15 minutes prior to your departure time, you will lose your scheduled reservation.
