Charleston Ghost & Graveyard Walking Tour
The Charleston Ghost and Graveyard Walking Tour gives you the most personal experience into the world of the paranormal in Charleston, South Carolina. You will get exclusive access to this historic city's oldest graveyard: Circular Church Graveyard. While the other tour groups are just walking past the graveyard, you'll be on the inside conducting your own investigation! This is the only company that has access to this graveyard, so you won't be able to have this experience anywhere else.
On the way to Circular Church Graveyard, you will pass other graveyards. Your knowledgable guide will tell you the history of Charleston's graveyards and stories of the people who reside here. Instead of just hearing these spooky stories, you'll get to truly experience them. If you're lucky, you may actually see some of these residents; so don't forget your camera! In all, you will walk approximately 3/4 of a mile.
Some of the stories you will hear include:
The ghost of Sue Howard: a grieving mother prays at the grave of her dead child; there's even a picture to prove this!
Tales of being buried alive: Hear the horrible stories of people who would fall unconscious and be buried alive. They would wake up and be trapped in their own coffin.
Saved by the bell: Learn the interesting story as to why this phrase gained popularity!
