T.G. Sheppard left his childhood home after dropping out of school when he was 15 in order to move to Memphis, TN and chase after his dream of being a musician. Starting his career under the name Brian Stacy in 1966, it wasn’t until 1974 when Sheppard teamed up with Melodyland that he started going by T.G. Sheppard and embracing his talents as a country music star.

Sheppard has several hit songs, namely “Trying to Beat the Morning Home”, “Devil in the Bottle”, “Slow Burn”, and “Do You Want to go to Heaven”. With countless albums and singles to his name, most recently “Legendary Friends & Country Duets” featuring stars such as The Oak Ridge Boys, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Conway Twitty. In additional to his musical successes, T.G. Sheppard is an active philanthropist, having worked for charities such as The Alzheimer’s Association and St. Judes.
