For a limited time only, country music legend Kenny Rogers will perform live and in person in Branson!  Multi-talented superstar Kenny Rogers sings!  He’s a songwriter.  He’s a record producer, an actor and an author.  He’s even a photographer!  The singing sensation brings you hits like “The Gambler” and “Crazy.”  With his nostalgic music and timeless hits, Kenny will bring up the memories and have you singing and dancing along.

Career
Rogers grew up in Houston, Texas, where he developed a love of music early on. In the 1950s, he debuted in the music industry with a rockabilly group called The Scholars. The band enjoyed some success until it dissolved.  From there, Rogers launched his solo career, and in 1958, released his single, “That Crazy Feeling.”

At that point, his popularity exploded and he began to transcend different musical genres as he worked with bands such as The Bobby Doyle Three and The First Edition.  In 1976, he set out on his own and signed withthe  United Artists record label, under which he released several albums, including Love Lifted Me, his self-titled album, and The Gambler, which was a multi-million selling album.

Kenny also paired up with Dottie West for a series of albums, which won him several accolades and awards. He performed with other artists as well, including Lionel Richie, Sheena Easton, and Dolly Parton.  In 1983, he released his album Eyes That See in the Dark, which produced his No. 1 hit, “Islands in the Stream.”

Rogers went on to release several additional albums, and made a permanent place for himself among the top charts. Over the course of his career, he produced over 27 studio albums, several Greatest Hits and compilation albums and  Christmas albums.  With so many awards, singles, and albums, Kenny Rogers became a household name, especially for country music lovers.
