About the Show's Plot


The Shepherd's Christmas Carol presentation, which is centered on preserving lovely holiday traditions, is sure to thrill everyone who attend. The play follows the central character, Ollie Stewart, as he deals with losing his childhood love Sammy Lane, to his rival and old friend. Mandy Ford and Uncle Ike team up with Ollie to include him in their neighborhood's Christmas celebrations and teach him about the joys of the season. It's a feel-good narrative that'll keep you entertained while also bringing a smile to your face.

About the Shepherd of the Hills Historic Homestead


This homestead is a historic Branson area landmark, offering up unique insight into the life and times of those depicted in Harold Bell Wright's famous book, The Shepherd of the Hills, for which the homestead gets its name. Several buildings are there are the Shepherd of the Hills homestead, including the Morgan Community Church and Old Matt's Cabin. Known for producing some of the finest outdoor theater in the world, guests will also enjoy exploring the homestead. The Shepherd of the Hills inspired not only vast tourism in the Branson area, but it also remains a part of history entrapped within a novel and the site that is still a part of the Ozark Mountain area to this day. The novel was written by Harold Bell Wright and was instantly a hit within the area, sparking interest and travel to the area. This ended up being the foundation of Branson tourism.

Interesting country twist on a dicken's classic. It was fun to see what visitors related to past, present and future. The stage setting was intimate.
