Freedom Trail Historic Walking Tour District in Boston, MA

Walk through Revolutionary War history with Boston's Freedom Trail, a 2 1/2-mile trek from Boston Common to the Bunker Hill Monument that features 16 historic sites along the way.

The trail is easy to follow as it features red brick and a red painted line that guides visitors to each significant landmark. The walk is not too challenging for most, and public transportation is also available at several points along the Trail. The Trail also features scheduled walking tours with costumed colonial characters, self-guided audio tours, trolley tours and more.

Key landmarks along the trail include Boston Common, The State House, Granary Burying Ground, King's Chapel & Burying Ground, Benjamin Franklin Statue, Old State House, Site of the Boston Massacre, Faneuil Hall, Paul Revere House, Bunker Hill Monument and more!

This is an absolutely beautiful trail in the Boston area. There is sightseeing all along it, and you can stop wherever you want. I don't think I walked the entire thing last time I was in Boston, but if I go back I'll definitely walk the rest of it.
