The Hostel is an exciting, fast-paced escape room at Escape at the Shore in Atlantic City. An escape room is a great activity for family, friends, or coworkers to work together to solve a real-life puzzle in a physical way. You are given a few clues, but other than that, you must use each other to escape. You'll have to open drawers, use blacklights, decode writing, and think critically. Bounce ideas off of each other through effective communication and teamwork to survive.
The Hostel story goes like this:
You and your friends want to go on a little trip and decide to backpack through Europe. One of your friends, Barry, chooses to hang out with local teenagers that he has met outside of the hostel. Seems harmless, right? Well, he never returns from this outing. You and the rest of your friends decide that you have to go look for him. You figure out that he has been kidnapped by a black market mafia that traffics humans; the trip is not so harmless anymore. The humans are sold to major CEO's that pay money to torture these captured people.
You and the rest of the group decide that you have to get into the torture chamber to save Barry's life. You're caught on camera and now the entire group has been captured! All of you are tied to the walls and Barry is strapped to an electric chair. You must save Barry (even though he got you into this mess), untie your group members, and get out of there to survive!
You will have 60 minutes to escape the room and save your friends and yourself. It is not recommended that children under the age of seven participate due to the graphic content. The minumum number of people to participate in this room is two and the maximum number is four. Choose your teammates wisely, you're relying on them to survive. Do you think you have what it takes?
