Omni Hotel at Cnn Center
A luxury hotel located on the same property as Philips Arena, home of the Atlanta Hawks, and the Georgia World Congress Center, Atlanta’s convention facility, the Omni Hotel at CNN Center has everything to meet a traveler’s needs. The hotel spa offers relaxing massages. There is a complimentary health/fitness club, along with a heated outdoor pool. Small pets allowed, for a small non-refundable deposit. Place valuables in a safety deposit box at the front desk while away from the room. Both the CNN studios and the CNN Center food court are inside. Guests can tour the studio seven days a week. There is a fee for covered valet parking. If needed, take public transportation via the adjacent Georgia Dome/CNN rapid rail station.
Though the hotel corridors and rooms remain quiet, it is impossible to miss the city hustle. The studios of one of the largest television networks in the world are inside. Sporting events at the adjacent Philips Arena can bring large crowds. Since this is the hotel nearest the Georgia Dome, college and professional football fans often congregate here. Taking a few hours off to exercise in the fitness center, or take a dip in the pool, can relieve any stress accumulated during the day.
Many rooms provide views of Centennial Olympic Park, built for the 1996 Summer Olympic Games. There are three general room sizes: deluxe, king, and suite. With six suite styles from which to choose, travelers have a wealth of options. The Presidential Suite, the most lavish, has 2,000 square feet of space. The rooms all have marble bathroom floors. There are complimentary in-room bathrobes. Most rooms come with a fully stocked refreshment area. Housekeeping visits twice daily upon request.
The upscale Prime Meridian Restaurant, located inside, specializes in American cuisine.
