Getting school children interested in their education is not always easy, but Six Flags Over Georgia's Education Days can help. The park has learning experiences for the children that are both entertaining and educational.
On Education Days, Six Flags Over Georgia closes the entire park to the public and reserves it just for students. They have days for different subjects, such at Math and Science Days, Physics/Physical Science Days, and Marketing and Journalism Days. Usually, the park's dozen of rides are used for entertaining, but on these specific days, students use them as tools for learning.
The park provides workbooks to help the kids learn about mathematics and science, including how the rides operate and the physics behind them. Students studying marketing and journalism are given the opportunity to learn about each field from guest speakers and professionals. The park even has an Elementary Academic Day, during which the park provides materials to teachers of grades Kindergarten to Fifth to help them teach about map skills and state history. Six Flags Over Georgia's Education Days are a great resource to help promote student learning that everyone, students, teachers, and parents will enjoy.
