Guided Stand Up Paddle Tour
This is going to be a fun and exciting adventure as you get out of the city and into nature, paddling around and interacting with many new and exciting animals. This is a family-friendly tour which means you will be able to spend time with your family in nature and have a great time. You will be informed by a guide who teaches you all you need to know about this and you will have all the equipment you need to really go out and explore. If you are looking for the time of your life then you will love this adventure. If you are someone who likes paddle boarding then this is for you. If you are a novice then that doesn't matter because you will be taught everything you need to know in order to succeed. This will be a narrated tour of West Asheville and after that, you will be fitted with everything you need to Have in order to have a safe and good adventure.
This will be a tremendous course and it starts with a 10-minute shuttle from the Arts District to the River. As you drive things will be narrated so you don't have to worry about anything. You will learn a lot about the sea and the River. You will have the time of your life as you relax and get prepared for your adventure.
After you have arrived then it is time for you to set out on your four-hour tour that involves you going under bridges and between rocks and you will have to learn how to keep the board in a straight line to succeed. It will be an interesting and exciting adventure.
Choose from 3 depart times to meet your guide in Asheville's River Arts District for a 10-minute shuttle up the river. You will enjoy a narrated tour of West Asheville on the drive to Hominy Creek, where you will be fitted with a life jacket, grab your paddle, and choose who is going to stand where on the board before setting out for your adventure.
Over the course of your 4-mile tour you will paddle beneath bridges, squeeze between rocks, and learn how to keep the board pointed straight while your guide helps steer from the back. You will definitely be the talk of the river as you pass by kayakers and tubers. Be sure to keep an eye out for native wildlife such as turtles, herons, beavers, otters, ducks, deer and black bears.
Your paddleboard raft is wide and stable, easy for first time paddlers, and can accommodate anywhere from 3-6 paddlers depending on the size of your group.
Your paddleboard tour concludes at the original departure point.
