Photo Tour of Blue Ridge Parkway
Meet Josh Aron, who is a nature photographer tour guide, on Blue Ridge Parkway with hiking on a scenic nature tour. The highlights include the Appalachian Highlands and the famous Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina. Guests will love getting some beautiful photographic shots of nature up close.
The day starts at 9 in the morning at Biltmore Park Town Square. Because this is a self driving tour, guests will be given directions and will also follow behind Josh Aron in a caravan style line to the destination. While driving along the iconic Blue Ridge Parkway, frequent stops will be made for the purpose of giving lessons about the area. Those lessons include how to take wonderful snapshots, and getting the full use of your cameras at certain overlooks. Pictures can be taken of all scenery such as the mountains and other various landscapes in the area.
After the photography lessons comes a hike that can either be two to eight miles long. This hike is off the parkway. Afterward, everyone will break for a snack that is included in the tour. Guests are welcome to bring their own lunch because that is not provided. Everyone will eat at Black Balsam Knob. This happens to be the second highest mountain in the Balsam Mountains elevated at 6,200 feet. If there is more time, guests can go to the top of the mountain to Graveyard Falls for a quick swim or Art Loeb Trails.
The tour is six hours long with some hiking involved. It is a good idea to wear some very comfortable shoes. Book your reservation now for this wonderful nature get away.
