Enjoy a wonderful horseback riding adventure perfect for all ages as you take a scenic ride by horseback down the Fern Forest Trail in North Carolina. This tour through the beautiful Nantahala National Forest will be perfect for the whole family to enjoy nature and gorgous outdoor country side for a great experience for everyone.
Once you arrive in Cullowhee, NC at the Arrowmont Stables and Cabins you will meet the beautiful horses that you get to ride. The 200-acre horse farm is located with gorgeous views and tons of great horses to see. After a safety video and horse training you will get to know the horses and their personalities. After, you can try the horse in a ring before departing to make sure its a proper match and get comfortable with your horse. Riding helmets are provided for your convenience and safety.
When it's time to head out on the Fern Forest Trail your guide will take you towards the trail and you will then begin on your expedition riding through deep woods while seeing an astonishing abundance of wildlifes such as turkey and deer all while riding through the beautiful woods in the Nantahala National Forest.
