Asheville Ghost Walking Tour Photos (7)

Explore the city of Asheville in a spooky and ghostly way with the Asheville Ghost Walking Tour and Mystery Museum experience. During the 2-hour tour, you will learn about the dark history and legends that surround the city of Asheville as you walk along the sidewalks of the city to visit homes, buildings, and landmarks that are said to be haunted.

Your tour starts at the Asheville Masonic Temple where you will meet your tour guide and set out through the scenic downtown streets as he provides you with stories and information about each of the locations visited. The sites visited include:

  • The Pink Lady that haunts the Grove Park Inn
  • Helen's Bridge where chilling apparitions have been documented after a suicide
  • Battery Park Hotel where a young lady was brutally murdered
  • Spirits of the victims from a madman who went on the cities largest killing spree
  • Why Asheville is called a vortex by psychics
  • St. Lawrence where a body is entombed in the wall
  • And so much more.

While walking around with the group, guests will learn about a few tips for hunting ghosts. The guide will discuss what to look and listen for when exploring locations that might be haunted. Before the tour is over, guests will enter the Masonic Temple through the basement to view the Mystery Museum. Adults and children over 8 are welcome to attend as some of the stories might not be suitable for younger children.

Those who enjoy ghosts and hunting them will find that this tour is full of adventure. Since the event lasts for about two hours, there is plenty of time to enjoy a nice meal before or after the tour in the city. Not only will you experience the dark underbelly of Asheville, but you'll also learn about ghost hunting! You'll never view Asheville the same way again!
