 Enjoy the sun and culture of one of Italy's most beautiful areas with an extensive nine-day tour of Tuscany, featuring time in Florence, Venice, Pisa, Lucca, Siena, San Gimignano, and the Montecatini Spa.

Day 2: Arrival in Tuscany

Upon arrival in Montecatini, you will check into your hotel and be left to enjoy lunch and the afternoon at your leisure prior to an informational meeting later that evening.

Day 3: Touring in Florence

After breakfast, the group will leave for Florence, ready to take in the various sights of Florence such as Giotto's Bell Tower, Ghiberti's Gates of Paradise, and Brunnelleschi's Dome. After a light lunch, the afternoon is your own to tour museums or explore the rest of what Florence has to offer, after which you will return to Montecatini for dinner.

Day 4: Time in Lucca and Pisa

The day begins with a trip to Lucca, one of Tuscany's wealthiest cities. After touring and ample leisure time, the next stop is Pisa, home of the famous Leaning Tower. Pisa's activities include exploring the Square of Miracles, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and Camposanto Monumente. After Pisa, you will return to your hotel for dinner.

Day 5: Exploring Venice

In Venice, you will be able to tour Venice landmarks such as San Marco Square, San Marco's Basilica, the Bridge of Sighs, and the Rialto on a guided tour. After the tour and a full luncheon, the afternoon is yours for shopping or taking a gondola ride. Return to Montecatini that evening.

Day 6: A drive through the Italian Wine Country

This drive through the wine country takes you through Chianti and Siena. While in Siena, you will visit the Piazza del Campo, the Medieval tower and walls, and San Domenico, which is the location of relics of St. Catherine. After lunch, you will return to Montecatini and then visit San Gimignano, which is known as "the most famous small town in Italy." While in San Gimignano, take in the sights of the many towers and views of Tuscany. After sampling some of the town's famous wine, return to Montecatini for dinner.

Day 7: Guided Walking Tour of Montecatini

After breakfast, you will have the opportunity to explore Montecatini on foot. The highlight of this tour is visiting the health spas that Montecatini is known for. After relaxing at the spa, return to the hotel for lunch and a free afternoon, followed by dinner at the hotel.

Day 8: Day in Montecatini

Take this day to explore Montecatini at your will, choosing to sightsee, take advantage of the many activities Montecatini offers, or just relax. Florence and other destinations are also just a train ride away, easily accessible from Montecatini's own train stop. Lunch and dinner will be at the hotel.

Day 9: Departure

After breakfast, you will bid goodbye to Montecatini and Tuscany as you make your way to the airport.
