Those looking for a relaxing journey through the beauty of Midwest America will find just such a time along the Scenic Door County vacation, offering up-close looks into the Great Lakes and peninsula of Wisconsin. Along the vacation, you'll explore Milwaukee, Lake Michigan and, of course, Door County, along this five day excurssion. Read on to learn more about what awaits with Scenic Door County.

Day 1 - After arriving at Chicago's O'Hare Airport, you'll meet with your vacation guide and other travel partners before beginning your trek into Wicson's Scenic Door County. You'll stop at the historic Long Grove Village along the way, admiring the German culture and Victorian architecture of the town. You'll have tme to explore, shop and stop for lunch while in Long Grove Village, and then head towards Manitowoc to check-in to the Best Western Manitowoc and enjoy dinner at the Courthouse Pub.

Day 2 - Day two will begin with breakfast at the hotel and take you to the area's maritime museum. You'll have the choice of exploring the museum on your own or taking a guided tour, each option offering an immersive look into the maritime history of the area. While passing through Egg Harbor you'll stop for lunch with time for sightseeing and shopping and then head out to Orchard Country Winery to sample the product of the land. That night, you'll check-in to Parkwood Lodge, located just across from Peninsula State Park, and nejoy an evening sunset fish boil at the Old Post Office - a southern-style mansion - with the rest of your party.

Day 3 - Today will start with breakfast at Julie's Cafe before the entire group meets with a local tour guide and takes off to Washington Island. On the island, you'll visit the Norwegian Stave Church and Historic Fishing Village, dine on a boxed lunch at the Washington Hotel Culinary School, and then moving on to Seaquist Orchards for a tour of the orchard and time to shop at the market. Once you've returned to your hotel you'll have time to relax before heading back out for dinner at Al Johnson's and entertainment at the American Folklore Theatre, located in Peninsula State Park.

Day 4 - Day four will begin along the waterfront at the Harbor Fish Market & Grille. After breakfast, you'll have the opportunity to experience the beauty of Lake Michigan and even tour the Cana Island Lighthouse. The, you'll travel to Algoma at Farm Market Kitchen where you'll enjoy a savory lunch and cooking demo! The rest of the day will take you to The Flying Pig Gallery & Greenspace before visiting Milwaukee to check-in to the Ambassador Inn.

Day 5 - For the last day of your Scenic Door County adventure you'll find a jamp packed time! You'll tour the city of Milwaukee, taking in views of Lake Michigan from a different vantage point. You'll also njoy lunch along the Milwaukee River as you ride the Edelweiss, viewing sights including Milwaukee Art Museum, Pier Wisconsin, Port of Milwaukee Lighthouses and much more. Finally, you'll depart for home having seen some of the most beautiful areas of Wisconsin.
