With the San Francisco and Lake Tahoe getaway you’ll find an immersive journey through the state of California that will take you through San Francisco and Napa Valley, and even across the border into Lake Tahoe and Reno over the course of seven days. Day 1 – San Francisco, CA
Day one will give you the chance to arrive in San Francisco, check-in at your hotel, Marriott at Fisherman’s Wharf, and become acquainted with the city. Tonight, meet with the rest of your travel party for a welcome dinner.
Day 2 – San Francisco, CA
Truly begin your vacation as you explore the cityscape of San Francisco. The Golden Gate Bridge, Twin Peaks, Chinatown and Fisherman’s Wharf will all be explored throughout the day, ensuring you are familiar with the City by the Bay’s most famed sights. Come nightfall, take in the cultural tastes of Chinatown for dinner before heading back to the Marriott at Fisherman’s Wharf.
Day 3 – San Francisco, CA
You’ll have day three to do with as you wish. From relaxing around the hotel to exploring the shopping of Union Square and Fisherman’s Wharf, it’s completely up to you as to how you spend your time!
Day 4 – San Francisco & Napa Valley, CA and Lake Tahoe, NV
Day four will see you leaving San Francisco as you begin exploring Napa Valley. You’ll visit one of the many wineries of the region to sample the wares, eventually making your way to Lake Tahoe to check-in at the Lake Tahoe Horizon Casino Resort.
Day 5 – Lake Tahoe, Virginia City & Reno, NV
Travel to Virginia City and experience its heritage as you explore the old Western setting steeped in the culture of gold and silver mining. Afterwards, you’ll visit the capital of Nevada, Reno, with free time to do as you like.
Day 6 – Lake Tahoe, NV
Lake Tahoe is the destination for today! You’ll begin with a cruise along the lake itself, being taken to the famed area of Emerald Bay. However, sights won’t be the only thing on display as you’ll also learn of the history of the area, ranging from Fennette Island to Vikingsholm Castle. You’ll also be treated to a farewell dinner tonight for one last chance to mingle with the rest of your party.
Day 7 – Lake Tahoe, NV
Your glimpse into the beauty of California and Nevada will finally come to an end in Lake Tahoe.
