These are only a few of the experiences you'll have during this 12 day tour. Below is a day to day outline of what you can look forward to during your excursion through the American west.

Day 1: Scottsdale, Arizona - Tour Begins
Your tour begins today in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Day 2: Scottsdale - Sedona - Lake Powell
Today, start off by visiting the Sedona artists' colony on your way to Oak Creek Canyon. Here, you'll view astounding natural rock formations that appear to change color as you twist along the road. You'll end your day with arrival at Lake Powell.

Day 3: Lake Powell - Grand Canyon
Enjoy cruising along Lake Powell while you have breakfast this morning. The Carl Hayden Visitors Center will offer you a view over Glen Canyon Dam to the end of Lake Powell. When you arrive at the Grand Canyon after a stop at Marble Canyon, you'll be checking into the only in-park hotel for an overnight stay. Dinner at the historic lodge this evening offers a casual atmosphere and fine dining while you gaze at the rim of the Canyon.

Day 4: Grand Canyon - Bryce Canyon, Utah - Zion Canyon
Today's travels take you to one of the scenic wonders of the world, Bryce Canyon National park. Bryce Canyon National Park is home to a group of formations known as Hoodoos, the result of wind and water erosion over thousands of years. The iron oxide in the rocks gives them an orange or red color. Finish out your day of touring at the colorful cliffs of Zion Canyon National Park.

Day 5: Zion Canyon - Salt Lake City
You'll be arriving in the "City of the Saints" today, Salt Lake City. During your stay, take time out to explore one of the city's most visited attractions in the heart of downtown, Temple Square. Located in the center is the Salt lake Temple, which is across from the home to the famous Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

Day 6: Salt Lake City
A guided tour of Salt Lake City will take you to see the state capitol, the residential district, and the Great Salt Lake. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 7: Salt Lake City - Jackson Hole, Wyoming
On your way to Wyoming, you'll be treated to the amazing sight of Bear Lake Summit. Finish out the day with arrival in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Day 8: Jackson Hole
Spend the day exploring Jackson Hole with activities such as shopping, hiking, and river rafting available to you. This evening will be spent at the Bar J Chuckwagon where you'll enjoy cowboy entertainment and dinner.

Day 9: Jackson Hole - Grand Tetons - Yellowstone
Depart from Jackson Hole and drive through Grand Teton National Park. The Grand Teton spans more than a mile above Jackson Hole and is the youngest mountain range in North America. Arrive in Yellowstone National Park for an overnight stay later on.

Day 10: Yellowstone - Cody - Sheridan
Begin the day of sightseeing at Lake Yellowstone, driving over Sylvan Pass. The scenery full of mountains and prairies will amaze you. Pass through Cody and stop at the Buffalo Bill Historical Center, a tribute site to Buffalo Bill Cody. On your way to spend the night in Sheridan, you'll drive through the Bighorn Mountain range in the territory of the Great Sioux Nation.

Day 11: Sheridan - Custer State Park, South Dakota
Today you'll be seeing great U.S. landmarks such as Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse Monument. Visit the Native American Cultural Center for a look at traditional customs of the native people. You'll learn about the significance of movements in their dances and the different feathers and garments they wear. Later on, you'll arrive in the Black Hills of South Dakota at Custer State Park where you'll enjoy a farewell dinner.

Day 12: Custer State Park - Tour Ends
Your tour ends in Custer State Park today. Take the memories of all you've experienced home with you and cherish them for years to come.
