The Majestic Sierra Parks by Train offers a seven day excursion through the mountains and along the coast of California as you experience the natural charm and beauty that resides from Los Angeles to Monterey with views of national parks including Yosemite, Sequoia Redwoods, and Kings Canyon. 

Day 1 - Upon arriving into Los Angeles, you'll meet your vacation guide at the LAX International Airport before transferring to your downtown Los Angeles hotel. Once you've checked-in, you'll have the rest of the day to explore the L.A. area.

Day 2 - After enjoying breakfast, your first full day on Majestic Sierra Parks by Train will have you leaving Los Angeles Union Station aboard a deluxe private dome train car. The journey will take you past lush farmlands and sparkling coast, eventually arriving in Monterey. There, you will check-in to the Monterey Bay Embassy Suites Hotel for the night.

Day 3 - While in Monterey, you'll start the third day with a visit to the Monterey Aquarium. The aquarium features over 500 different species of marine life, presenting an in-depth look at the natural world. Come afternoon, it will be time to cruise Scenic 17 Mile Drive while viewing Pacific Grove, Pebble Beach, Lone Cypress Point, and eventually Carmel Village. At the end of the day, you'll have the opportunity to relax with cocktail hour and enjoy a seafood dinner at Fisherman's Wharf.

Day 4 - On day four, you'll say goodbye to Monterey and begin to make your way towards Coarsegold. The first stop along the day will be at the National Steinbeck Center, the location of John Steinbeck's boyhood home. After taking in the sights and enjoying a home cooked lunch, you'll then travel through the San Joaquin Valley, Fresno, and finally arrive at Coarsegold where you'll check-in to the Chuckansi Gold Indian gaming casino.

Day 5 - Dave five is sure to be a treat, even by the lofty standards already set, as you have the chance to visit Yosemite National Park. During your travel through the park you'll make stops at Yosemite Falls, El Capitan, and Half Rock Dome for an encompassing look at some of the parks highlights. Lastly, you'll visit the famed Ahwahnee Lodge and enjoy lunch before finally returning to the Chuckansi Gold Indian gaming casino.

Day 6 - It will now be time to back up and head from Coarsegold to Visalia. Throughout the day, you'll visit Kings Canyon National Park, enjoy lunch in Grant Grove, admire Sequoia National Park and eventually settle down into the Marriott Visalia where you'll enjoy a farewell dinner with the entire travel group.

Day 7 - On the last day, you'll be escorted back to Southern California by motorcoach and returned to the LAX International Airport.

While California certainly showcases a variety of metropolitan areas it simply can't be denied that the natural beauty of California can offer an unprecedented view that is one of the treasured gems of the state.
