Once every ten years the Bavarian town of Oberammergau holds it world renowned Passion Play, and with the Imperial Splendors and Oberammergau you'll have the opportunity to be a part of this prestigious event while simultaneously exploring the regions that surround Oberammergau. Come experience for yourself the beauty of the region and touching history of Oberammergau in 2010!

Day 1 - Upon arriving in Munich, Germany you'll have time to check into your hotel and rest before meeting with your vacation guide and other travel companions for a welcome dinner.

Day 2 - Start your morning with a tour of Munich as you explore the Olympic Stadium before leaving Germany for the Bohemian Forest on the Czech border. Then, it will be off to Prague to settle down for the night.

Day 3 - Having not arrived in Prague until later in the afternoon on day two, day three will begin with a tour of Prague. Sights seen throughout the day will include Hradcany Castle, St. Vitus Cathedral and the Astronomical Clock. Come afternoon you'll have free time to browse the area shopping or even just rest.

Day 4 - On day four, you'll leave Prague and head towards Moravia, the headquarters of the battle of Austerlitz. From Moravia, you'll make your way through Bratislava, and then along the Danube River to Budapest.

Day 5 - The cosmopolitan of Budapest will be on display on day five as you visit Andrassy Avenue, the second largest Synagogue in the world, Fisherman's Bastion and more. After spending the morning touring the city, you'll have free time to do what you will and rest for the next leg of your trip.

Day 6 - Vienna, Austria will be your destination today. Once at Vienna, you'll visit Prater Park, Ring Boulevard, State Opera House, Hofburg Palace, and also St. Stephen's Cathedral. Once again, the afternoon and evening hours will provide free time to explore the parts of the city that appeal to you.

Day 7 - With so much to see and do in Vienna, day seven will provide a full day of free time to use as you see best.

Day 8 - Day eight will see you removed from the sights of the city as you tour the Austrian countryside. Cruise the Danube River. Travel through the Salzkammergut. And pass Lake Wolfgang. After exploring the many different natural sights of the area you'll arrive in Salzburg for a night of rest.

Day 9 - Salzburg is on the menu today! You'll be guided past the Mirabell Gardens, Great Festival Hall, St. Peter's Churchyard and the birthplace of Mozart! After exploring Salzburg, you'll travel back towards Munich on your way to Obermmergau.

Day 10 - This is the day you've been waiting for. You'll finally have the chance to witness the legendary Oberammergau - the once-in-a-decade Passion Play!

Day 11 - Day eleven offers one last chance to either rest up or explore the city of Munich. The entire day will be free, ensuring that you'll be able to do exactly as you please.

Day 12 - On the last day, you'll wake for breakfast and then board your homebound flight.
