Day 1
Flight to Cairo, Egypt ~ * Air to and from North America is Extra *
You'll arrive in Cairo, Egypt for your stay overnight and a welcome dinner at your hotel.

Day 2
Cairo, Egypt
After breakfast, you'll depart from your hotel for a tour of the city. Following lunch at a local restaurant, you'll get a tour of the Egyptian Museum, home to many ancient artifacts such as the treasures of King Tutankhamen. You'll go back to your hotel later in the day.

Day 3
Abu Simbel, Egypt
You'll be transfered to the Ciaro Aiport after breakfast to take a flight to the fountainhead of Lake Nasser where Abu Simbel is located. Once there, you'll board the "Eugene" sailing towards Aswan on a 4-night cruise. After a tour of the temples of Abu Simbel, you'll relax on deck enjoying a welcome cocktail. In the evening, you'll have the option of attending a Sound & Light Show in the Abu Simbel Temples. Back on board the "Eugene", a candlelight dinner will be served.

Day 4
Cruising Lake Nasser / Nile River, Egypt
Watch the sunrise at Abu Simbel at day break and use the remainder of the morning at your discretion. You will be setting sail to head for Kasr Ibrim for an on deck tour of the site (entrance is not permitted). Enjoy a lovely dinner and another night aboard the "Eugene"

Day 5
Cruising Lake Nasser / Nile River, Egypt
You will be sailing to Amada for a morning visit at the of Amada and Derr along with the viceroy of Nubia and the tomb of Penout. Set sail again as lunch is served and you make your way to visit the temples of Wadi El Seboua. Dock at Wadi El Seboua for dinner and an overnight stay on board.

Day 6
Cruising Lake Nasser / Nile River, Egypt
Enjoy a cocktail whilst crossing the "Tropic of Cancer" sailing towards the city of Aswan. Many of the historic temples that will be visited today are only accessible by boat because they are under the waters of Lake Nasser. This will be your last night spent on the "Eugene".

Day 7
Aswan/Cruise River Nile, Egypt
You'll disembark from the "Eugene" to board another ship cruising the Nile River. You'll stay aboard this vessel for the next three nights as you sail to Luxor. You stop off at the Elephantine Island to vist the Botanical Gardens before retiring for the evening on deck.

Day 8
Cruise River Nile, Egypt
Take a morning visit to see the unfinished obelisk, the High Dam, and the temple of Philea. Then, visit the temple of Kom-Ombo overlooking the Nile River. Dinner is going to be spent on board docked along the shore of Edfu.

Day 9
Cruise Nile River / Luxor, Egypt
The morning brings a tour of the temple of Edfu and then you'll continue cruising down the river towards Luxor. Docked in Luxor, you'll stay overnight on board.

Day 10
Luxor/Giza, Egypt
The West Bank of the Nile is the site of both the "Valley of the Kings" and the temple of Hatshepsut. You'll then go to the East Bank and enjoy lunch at a local eatery. Afterwards, you'll view the Luxor Temple and the Temple of Karnak. In the afternoon, you'll be transported to Luxor Airport to board a flight to Cairo. You'll be staying in a hotel in Giza for the next two nights.

Day 11
Giza, Egypt
Today you'll be touring the great landmarks of Egypt such as the spinx, the pyramids, the ancient city of Memphis, and the oldest building in the world, the Step Pyramid. Dinner in the evening at the hotel is your choice.

Day 12
Ain El Soukhna, Egypt (Suez Canal)
Today you'll be transported to the shores of the Suez Canal to stay at the Ain el Soukhna resort. You'll be staying for the night so use the afternoon to do as you please.

Day 13
Cairo, Egypt
You'll return to Cairo and stay at the hotel near Cairo International Airport overnight.

Day 14
END OF TOUR ~ * Air to and from North America is Extra *
Pack your bags and say goodbye to Cairo as you board your flight back home.
