Day 1
BEIJING
After arriving in Beijing, you'll be transfered to your hotel for a 3-night stay. The day is yours to relax. Dinner will be served at your hotel in the evening.
Day 2
BEIJING
From spending the morning on the "Hutong Tour" complete with a rickshaw ride to visiting Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, and the "Summer Palace", today is full of sightseeing. You'll return to the hotel later to spend the rest of your afternoon free.
Day 3
BEIJING
Today's travels take you to one of the most famous landmark structures in China, the Great Wall. This masterpiece dates back to the Qin Dynasty in 221 BC. The afternoon offers a visit to the "Temple of Heaven". In the evening, you'll enjoy a dinner of Peking Duck with Legends of Martial Arts for entertainment.
Day 4
BEIJING - XIAN
A day flight to Xian located at the start of the "Silk Road" will allow you to visit the "Xian Museum" as well as enjoy a "Tang Dynasty Dinner" complete with entertainment.
Day 5
XIAN
Enjoy an exciting Key "Ceremony" as you are given the keys to the city of Xian near of the gates of this walled city. You'll later on drive out of the city to view the Eighth Wonder of the World, the "Terra Cotta Warriors". You'll then leave Xian to head to stay in Guilin for the next two nights.
Day 6
GUILIN
After breakfast you'll be taken on a day trip to Longsheng where you can view the "Dragon Bone Rice Terraces". You'll return to Guilin in the afternoon where you will later on have dinner before taking a "Round-the-city Waterways" tour.
Day 7
YANGSHUO
Following breakfast, you'll take a cruise on the Li River, the mystic mountains acting as a backdrop to the scenic beauty. You'll then arrive in the picturesque city of Yangshuo. Check into a hotel and then spend the afternoon exploring or shopping. After dinner in the evening, you'll see the "Impressions Liusanje Show".
Day 8
GUILIN ~ CHONGQING
Today you'll leave Yangshuo to head back to the Guilin Airport. Your flight from there will take you to Chongqing on the Yangtze River. A tour of the city including a visit to one of it's oldest streets, the "Ciqikou" will take you to a higher level of immersion in "old China".
Day 9
CRUISE
Get on board the "Yangtze Explorer" featuring roomy suites and delicious meals that fuse Western and Chinese flavors and prepare to enjoy your 3-night cruise along the Yangtze River.
Day 10
CRUISE
During your cruise along the largest river in China, you'll be given the opportunity to visit the ancient city of Fengdu that lies on the north bank of the Yangtze.
Day 11
CRUISE
The Yangtze will allow you to cruise the cliff and mountains known as the "Three Gorges" and a tributary of the river, Shennong Stream. Passage through the Three Gorge Dam Ship locks will take place in the evening
Day 12
SHANGHAI
A tour of the Three Gorge damn Project is planned before you continue your voyage on to Yichang. After you disembark from your ship, you will board a plane and fly to Shanghai where you'll be staying for the next 3 nights. Dinner in the evening will be at the hotel.
Day 13
SHANGHAI
The Shanghai tour includes attractions and sites such as the Children's Palace and a Silk Factory. After the tour, the rest of the day is free.
Day 14
SHANGHAI
Visit one of the most well known "Water Villages" in China, Zhouzhuang this morning. Then you can spend the rest of the afternoon enjoying Shanghai independently. Dinner at a local restaurant is followed by an evening of entertainment at the "Shanghai Acrobat Show".
Day 15
RETURN TO NORTH AMERICA
Your vacation in China ends here with your transport to the airport and then back home.
