With Around the World in Las Vegas & More you will be treated to eight busy days throughout Sin City and the surrounding area while enjoying luxurious accommodations in an apartment suite with separate bedrooms, full kitchen, and balcony. Throughout the vacation, you will explore sights including the Vegas Strip, Red Rock Canyon, Lake Havasu, Laughlin and Death Valley.
Day 1
Upon arrival in Las Vegas you will be transferred to The Desert Rose Resort and check-in to your spacious home for the next eight days. Once settled, you will meet with the rest of your travel companions and travel guide for a reception dinner at the resort. After dinner, it will be time to hit the Strip! Along your tour of the Vegas Strip you will see all of the glitz and glamor of the neon lights for a picturesque view of Las Vegas.
Day 2
Upon awaking on day two, you will take to the streets of Vegas once more, this time gaining a more comprehensive view of the city. From revisiting the Strip to exploring the downtown area, you will see it all throughout the morning of day two. Come afternoon, the rest of the day will be yours to do with what you will. From gambling to world-famous shows to trendy shopping, there are a variety of options waiting to keep you busy.
Day 3
Day three will take you from the bright lights of Vegas to the rugged beauty of Arizona. Lake Havasu will be your destination, as you travel through the Mojave Desert and across the Colorado River en route. Once at Lake Havasu, you will be able to simply enjoy the natural beauty and admire the architecture of the area's London Bridge (originally constructed in London and later purchased by the founder of Lake Havasu). Enjoy lunch and shopping in Lake Havasu before returning to the road to visit the old western setting of Oatman, Laughlin and finally returning to the Desert Rose Resort.
Day 4
You will have the entirety of day four to yourself to experience the many sights and attractions of Las Vegas still waiting to be explored.
Day 5
Day five presents another time of natural exploration as you travel into California. Death Valley National Park will be the first stop of the day, allowing you to experience the lowest land point in the nation. Once at Death Valley, sights including Zabriskie Point, Scotty's Castle, and Ubehebe Crater will all be explored.
Day 6
Day six will extend your natural sightseeing with a visit to Red Rock Canyon. You will return to Las Vegas in the afternoon with time to freshen up for your evening of dining and enjoying a lively variety show.
Day 7
Day seven will once again offer a day of options. You may choose to continue exploring the sights and attractions of Vegas at your leisure, or opt to participate in a tour of Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam or the Grand Canyon. The choice is yours!
Day 8
Day eight will see you finally leaving Las Vegas, but not before experiencing an in-depth look into the cityscape of Las Vegas and its numerous surrounding natural wonders.
