Our Son's An Angel
Then when I was six months I went back in to labor and gave birth to our son Sammy. They took him over right away and started working on him but his little heart could not make it. He lived just a short time and the Lord called him home. They gave him a bath and took lots of pictures. I know he was a little guy but he looked a lot like his Daddy. He got to stay in the room with us all day. He looked so peaceful just laying in my arms. I Just sat there and held his little hand. He was the most beautiful baby we had ever seen. We love and miss him so much. There is not a day that goes by that we dont think of our sweet little angel. When Sammy got called to heaven a piece of our hearts were forever broken and nothing will ever be the same. We go to his grave every week. Somedays it still doesnt seem real seeing our son's name on the head stone. Our son's 2nd Birthday is coming up next week and its been kind of hard on my husband and I. We have tried for over a year have another baby with so far no luck. If I never get pregnant again I still feel blessed to have had our son. My husband is the best husband any wife would ask for. While I was in the hospital for a month he never left my side. He did so much for me and I know I couldnt have done it without him. I would love to thank my husband by taking him on a little vacation even if it was some place for the weekend. But we have thousands of dollars worth of medical bills and cant affored to do anything. Every since I got out of the hospital we have not been able to get caught up on our bills. I kind of feel bad writting this becuase I feel like I'm asking for something but after all we have been through we could really use a vacation. If we dont get picked for the vacation that is okay. I am thankful for those who voted for us and I am glad you read our story. We added a picture of our little man. We have so many pictures of him and I am very thankful to have them. We miss our son so much and would give anything if he was here with us. When I see little boys about two years old It sometimes breaks my heart just to think of how Sammy would have been. Sammy's Daddy is a fire fighter and I know he would have loved the fire trucks. We cant see him but I bet he is on every fire run with his Daddy and keeps watch over him and the guys. I have read a lot of the story's on here and they are really sad and when I read story's about these young kids who have something wrong with them and would love to take a trip some where I wonder why I even sent our story in. I wish we could all have a trip but I know it doesn't work that way. If any family's who are in the contest is reading this I wish nothing but the best for you.
