Make Her Dream Come True
It was Tawny's dream to take her girls to Disneyland or Disney World. She left this world before she got to fulfill that dream. Though Karen has experienced severe grief and pain she has taken on the role of mother to her youngest granddaughter. She would love to fulfill her daughter's dream. Since she is on a fixed income and the only other income she receives for Savannah is Survivor's benefits, a vacation like that is out of the picture. Savannah and Samantha do not get to see one another very often due to separate residences. Samantha lives with her father in another city and visitation is short-term and sparse. Savannah's father realized that raising a young girl is more than he can handle and has requested Karen to care for her. Karen's 22-year old daughter, Darcey assists with the care of Savannah making sure she gets to her baseball and other functions. In addition she works part-time. Karen is also disabled so it is difficult for her to accomplish things you and I take for granted. Please help this family have a well-deserved vacation and help Tawny give the girls the vacation she dreamed of for them even though she is not here physically. |
