I am the mother in a family of three and we are in the lower working class. I work as an assistant manager at a gas station and have been there for two years now. I work as much overtime as possible to pay the bills. My husband is a prep cook at a nice restaurant in Owosso, Mi. I have a weeks paid vacation coming up in July and would like to take the family on a vacation so we can spend some real family time together.

None of us has ever been to Mackinac Island before. We have seen pictures of the island and it is beautiful, as well as historic. It would be great to see the Mackinac Bridge, the lighthouse, take the carriage tour, see the butterflies, and see the fireworks from the island on the fourth of July. I recently checked hotel rates in the area of Mackinac Island, Mackinac City, and St. Ignace. I found that they are just too expensive for us. This would really mean a great deal to us if you could help us get there. Thank you.
