If you are visiting the Wisconsin Dells area on a vacation and would like to show your children a great time, consider visiting Circus World Museum. This museum will sure to delight your children as well as the adults in your family. To visit the museum you will need to purchase tickets which will include all the performances as well as the tour of the museum. Adult tickets cost $7.00, seniors tickets are $6.00, children 5-11 are $3.50 and children under 4 are free. The museum is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and is closed on the weekends. If you choose to rent a stroller rather than bring your own, that is not a problem since they have strollers to rent.
The museum has four different programs to correspond with the seasons. The Spring Program has rare collections of Trumpets of Paper. They also have restored circus wagons and have an indoor wagon pavilion. The Summer Program provides many performances throughout the day such as Circus Novelty Instruments, KidsWorld Circus — Elephant House, Caterpillars move the Circus, plus many more. The Fall Program features magic shows everyday. Finally, the Winter Program features Parade Wagons which will delight your children even if the weather isn't so delightful.
Before you head into the museum, check out The Irvin Field Exhibit Hall and Visitors Center where you can see rare circus posters, costumes, and parade displays. They also have a theater where you can watch a show called, "The World's Greatest Showmen" which plays many times during the day.
