The Winter Park Resort will open for the season in November. This resort is on 3,000 acres of groomers, terrain parks, bumps, steeps, trees and deeps. This resort is only 67 miles from Denver International Airport.
The Winter Park Resort features the best lodging in the area ranging from $41 to $84 a night. Vacation packages are also available for multiple days of lodging and lift tickets starting at $113. Lift tickets start at $106 and range up to $450 depending the amount of days and the days you will be using them. Season passes are also available. A Rocky Mountain Super Pass Plus is $509, Rocky Mountain Super Pass $409, Winter Park/Mary Jane Season Pass $379, Rocky Mountain Ultimate Pass $1344, Winter Park Four Pass $139 and Trasfour Card $199.
The resort offers equipment rental which has a variety of skiing accessories for all levels. A Ski and Ride School for skiing lessons. There are classes help for all levels of skiers and children. Childcare is also provided for children 2 moths to 6 years of age. You will be given a pager so you can be contacted if needed.
The resort also offer special activities for its visitors. During the winter, you can take a Scenic Chairlift Ride, a Scenic Snowcat Tour, Snowshoe Tour, Free Guided Mountain Orientation Tour and NASTAR Racing. The winter is not the only time you can enjoy yourself at Winter Park Resort, during the summer you can experience Colorado's longest Alpine Slide, take a chairlift ride up the mountain or take a bike ride.
