Francis X. Driscoll Images of the Catskills Gallery in Windham, NY is a collection of some of the greatest work Driscoll has ever accomplished. Francis X. Driscoll is a self-taught photographer. He grew up in the Bronx and fell in love with the mountains at a young age. It was this love that inspired him to learn photography so he could capture every beautiful part of the Catskills. He was always ready to snap a new shot anytime something changed with the mountains. Driscoll won many photography awards through his life. His work has also been shown in many well-known places such as Columbia Memorial Hospital, the Pratt Museum, the Catskill Mountain Foundation and many others. His work has also been in many national publications, magazines, travel guides and textbooks. He also is a committee member and has shows at the Mountain Top Gallery. Francis also has a book titled, "Images of the Northern Catskills".
The Images of the Catskills Gallery has all Driscoll's work on display. Images on display are more than just photographs of the Catskills, although many of them are centered near and around the mountains. His images include farm shots, outdoor winter scenery shots, lake shots and almost any outdoor photograph he could find. The work of Francis X. Driscoll is also available for viewing on his webpage. He is in the process of starting to take online orders of his work for those that appreciate his great works but can't get to his gallery.
