The Road to Independence Fourth of July Celebration at the Yorktown Victory Center near Williamsburg, VA

Yorktown's premiere Fourth of July event, the Road to Independence, will feature a variety of activities for the entire family. The Independence Day event is one of several special events planned at Yorktown during the 225th anniversary year of the victory of the Continental Army at the Siege of Yorktown in 1781. 

Interactive military drills will give visitors the opportunity to join in, and reenactments will bring the events and people of this all-important era to life.  Historic Yorktown will hold special events throughout the week of Independence Day, so be sure to plan to spend several days enjoying the festivities and celebrations of America's independence!
