Kick off the Jamestown 2007 celebration of America's 400th Birthday with the 90-day sail and show of the Godspeed replica. This commissioned replica is modeled after the Godspeed, one of the three ships that brought the first English colonists to Virginia. Berthed at
Jamestown Settlement, a state-operated living-history museum, the replica will sail along the East Coast, making stops at Alexandria, VA; Baltimore, MD; Philadelphia, PA; New York, NY; Newport, RI; and Boston, MA.
The Godspeed replica will serve as a "floating museum" for the thousands of visitors expected at the Landing Party. The 20,000 square foot festival area will host live music, plenty of entertainment and activities for children, historical & cultural displays, and much more.
